YMER&MALTA is happy to announce the acquisition by the CNAP (French National Center for Fine Art) of morningMist, a sculptural light by Benjamin Graindorge.

Inspired by delicate shades of morning dew, each morningMist in the series of 12 pieces has its own unique shape and color.

morningMist was the flagship piece of Benjamin Graindorge’s first ever solo show in the YMER&MALTA gallery in 2011. It is a sculpture assembled using glass marbles blown in the workshops of the CERFAV (European Centre for Research and Training in Glassworks).

In 2011, morningMist was shown at Design Parade, the International Design Festival, Villa Noailles, in Hyères, France.

morningMist is also part of the design collection of Bernard Magrez’s Cultural Institute in Bordeaux, France.
