YMER&MALTA is pleased to announce the acquisition by the Museum of Decorative Arts of Paris, France, of the sculptural vase IkebanaMedulla by Benjamin Graindorge.

The piece is inspired by the traditional Japanese art of floral arrangement. However, IkebanaMedulla was initially designed as a sculpture, that would then flower into a vase.

IkebanaMedulla was made in 2010 using the newly developed 3D printing technique.

IkenabaMedulla has been referenced in the book “Art of Design” by Dominique Forest, Citadelles & Mazenod, 2014
